I started playing autoharp when my husband, Buck, bought me one for Valentine's Day in about 1978. I've loved and have been in Homespun Music since I was a child. Most of my aunts and uncles played.

I became interested in autoharp through seeing and hearing Maybelle Carter.  I enjoy playing the autoharp and various other instruments like the mandolin and fiddle.  Mostly, I play music for fun and enjoyment and really like getting together and jammin' with friends.

I started quilting in 1972 after many years of sewing and patching clothes.  I have made 100's of quilts, lap blankets, baby quilts, and wall hangings.  Either hand-tied or hand-quilted, my work is precise and detailed.
