Photos, Poetry & Random thoughts Self Portrait Of The Old Man He sure ain't much to look at In his bibs and baseball cap. Napping'in the sunshine With a cat curled in his lap. He'll gab about the things he knows 'Til he's got ya plumb worn down He's windy as a lawyer In the courthouse way down town He likes to play some music When he gets a chance with friends Likes those ol' time country songs And those old gospel hymns He's spent some time with airplanes Learning how to fly. Chased some boats on water skis Cast a few dry flies He loves settin' in the sun His 'ol cap pulled down low Glad he's looking at green grass And not a lot of snow To hear her voice or see her smile Puts sunshine in his life She makes his January, June Lois Ann, his wife. buck lumbert February 2, 2009 Home Autoharps Chord Bars Quilts Contact Photos Links Photos
